2026 FAMILY MONTH

Family Month is almost here! Please review the following information for a complete schedule of activities and events planned throughout September. There is something for every member of the family, so mark your calendars and prepare to join us for a month of faith, fellowship, service, and fun!

  • Outreach Service Project

    Family Month begins with an opportunity to put our faith into action! On Wednesday, September 2, we will serve alongside VOCAL-Kentucky, located at 723 S. Brook Street. Volunteers should arrive at 6:00 p.m. and wear your GCBC shirts. Registration is required, so please sign up and help us make a meaningful difference in our community.

  • Jazz on the Green

    Join us on Sunday, September 6 at 1pm, immediately following worship, for our 3rd Annual Jazz on the Green! Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz, delicious food, carnival rides, family activities, and community fellowship. This free event is open to everyone, so invite your family and friends to join us on the lawn!

  • Men's Week

    Men’s Week will be celebrated September 7–13 with the theme “Praying With Your Legs.” The week will include a Men’s Fellowship Dinner and Bible Study on Wednesday, Bowling Night on Friday, a Community Car Show on Saturday, and Men’s Sunday on September 13. Men of all ages are encouraged to participate in this powerful week of faith, fellowship, and service.

  • Women's Week

    Calling all women to join us September 14–20 for Women’s Week! This special week will provide opportunities for women of every generation to connect, grow, worship, and celebrate the power of faith-filled sisterhood. Make plans to participate and invite another woman to join you!

  • Children and Youth Week

    We will celebrate our children and youth September 21–27! Our young people will lead Bible Study on Wednesday, September 23, followed by a Youth Lock-In on Friday and the Rays of Hope Retreat on Saturday. The week will conclude with Children and Youth Sunday on September 27. Let’s come together to encourage, support, and celebrate the next generation!
