GCBC Scholarship Opportunities

At Green Castle Baptist Church, we are committed to supporting our students in their pursuit of higher education. We believe in investing in the future by providing scholarship opportunities to help ease the financial burden of college and vocational training.


We are excited to announce that Green Castle Scholarships are now available! Applications can be accessed right here on our church website. The deadline to submit your application is Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

  • Darnell W. Clay, Sr. Community Scholarship

    Bro. Darnell Clay professed belief in our Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful, committed and active member of Green Castle for many years serving as an Usher, Chair of Trustee Board and as a member of the Scholarship Committee. Darnell was married for nearly 54 years to the love of his life, Sis. Angelyn Clay, and they were blessed with two children, Sharon Clay Burney and Darnell W. Clay, Jr. Darnell believed in giving back to his community, as evidenced by his community volunteerism and his commitment to the education of all children and to higher education or post-secondary training for young adults. The family requested that memorial donations be given to the GCBC Scholarship Fund and the scholarship is open to the church family and community.

  • Non-Traditional Scholarship

    This scholarship is designed to support individuals pursuing careers in skilled trades and vocational programs. This scholarship is open to students enrolled in trade schools, certification programs, apprenticeships, or technical training in fields such as cosmetology, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, welding, automotive technology, construction, healthcare support roles, and other hands-on professions.

  • Student Achievement Form

    The Student Achievement form is designed to celebrate and recognize the academic excellence, leadership, service, and extracurricular involvement of our students. We invite parents and guardians to share notable accomplishments including honor roll recognition, scholarships, awards, college acceptances, leadership roles, athletic achievements, fine arts honors, and community service milestones.


    Green Castle is proud to uplift and affirm the hard work, dedication, and God-given gifts of our students.
